LASEREF VI Micro Inertial Reference System Special Missions
Honeywell's LASEREF VI Micro Inertial Reference System Special Missions is an all-digital high performance ring laser gyro-based inertial reference system which provides ARINC 429 digital outputs. The high performance gyros enhance inertial navigation and hybrid performance. The LASEREF VI has been designed to simplify pilot workload while dramatically reducing installation time, weight, size, power, and cost. When connected with a global positioning system receiver, the micro inertial reference system outputs TSO 129a hybrid inertial reference system /global positioning system data and can perform Alignment-In-Motion. As Honeywell's fifth generation inertial reference system, this revolutionary design is based on flawless service from over 36,000 commercial inertial reference systems in service around the world.
